Blending Essential Oils

The following is a guideline for blending essential oils. You will need a glass bottle or bowl and a glass rod for mixing. Start by blending a drop or two at a time until you have a blend that suits you.

Aromabath, Milk Bath, Fizzy Bath:
Add 6 - 9 drops per 100ml. Use 2 - 3 tbsp. in each bath.

Aromatherapy Bath: Essential Oils can be added directly to your bath water, but it is recommended to add them to a bath oil or carrier oil first,. Our bath oil has the ability to naturally disperse essential oils without leaving an oily residue! It is also advisable to dilute essential oils before putting them into your bath water as some oils can be skin irritants (see Precautions). For your bath, blend 9 - 15 drops of essential oils with 15ml (1 tbs) bath oil. Add to a full tub as essential oils start to evaporate immediately.

Add 2ml (1 teaspoon) jojoba oil to 30 grams (1 tbs) green clay. Then blend in 3 - 6 drops essential oils. Then add sufficient water ( 1 - 2 tbs) to make a spreadable paste. Leave mask on for 15 to 30 minutes. Lie back and close your eyes. Rinse off with warm water.

Lamp Rings: Add 3 - 5 drops to 15ml (1 tbs) distilled water. Caution: Always add oils and liquid to the lamp ring while it is away from the light bulb.

Inhalation: Vapor inhalation is one of the fastest methods of absorbing a few drops of essential oils into the body. Inhalation works really well for sinus congestion and respiratory problems. Add 3 - 6 drops essential oils to a large bowl of warm water. Cover head with a towel and breathe deeply for 10 minutes. This formula can also be used in a simmer pot on the stove.
